Advent Season
Jesus, who is the Prince of Peace, came to a world that is violent, unjust, and broken. Advent is the anticipation of the restoration that Christ has begun and will ultimately bring to completion. Advent is a recognition of the darkness of a world waiting to be restored and redeemed, but also a recognition that God has begun that work of restoration. We currently live in a world that contains much pain and darkness – but we live here with the unshakable hope that comes with knowing God and His promises for us. We invite you to come observe Advent with us, with the lighting of the advent candles each Sunday in December during our 10am morning service.
Women's Christmas Brunch
Saturday, December 14th from 9:30-11am
The women of BCCC meet up on the second Saturday of each month to fellowship and encourage each other. In December, the breakfast is stepped-up a notch for our annual Christmas Brunch. Join us at the church at 9:30am on Saturday, December 14th, for brunch and fellowship. It’s a wonderful way to get to know other women and to give and receive blessing through relationship.
Carols, Cookies, & Cocoa
Sunday, December 8th at 6:30pm
Join us at the church on the evening of the 8th to sip cocoa, munch on cookies, and sing Christmas carols. This will be a fun & festive night that will help us focus on and celebrate the arrival of Jesus, our Messiah. If possible, please bring some of your favorite Christmas cookies to share and we’ll have an array of delectable delights available to enjoy.
Longest Night Service
Thursday, December 21st at 8pm
December 21st is the darkest day of the year. While we anticipate the joy and celebration of Christmas, we also acknowledge the pain, difficulty, challenge, and sorrows life can bring. On this evening, we invite you to participate in a service of darkness, a time where we can sit with our laments and sorrows, bringing them before God and finding rest in Him through singing, Scripture reading, and reflection.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Services
Sunday, December 24th at 5pm
Because of Christmas, we can know deep peace, unshakable joy, life-giving hope, and awe-inspiring love. In our Christmas Eve Service, we’ll sing Christmas carols, light candles, have a special kids’ message, and reflect on the peace, joy, hope, and love that we have because of the birth of Jesus.
This is a family-friendly service and a family-friendly church, so children of all ages are welcome, but nursery for children up to age 2 is provided.
We’d love to have you join us.
